In case you haven't heard, America is gripped with fear of a little something called the Swine Flu at the moment. Though lagging far behind the regular flu in lethal impact, H1N1 is a sexy, sexy bug — if nothing else, it's a media pandemic. In response perhaps to the government's public safety tips, Overtones Gallery called up 60 artists, both from the gallery's roster and the LA art world at large, and invited them to design an original surgical mask. Robbie Conal, Mark Licari, Jeffrey Vallance, Michele Jaquis, Carol Es, and Alexis Zoto are just some of the eclectic crew of maskers.
