Known primarily for its iconic outdoor amphitheatre and legendary musical acts, the Hollywood Bowl is offering fans a glimpse into the world of poster design with its inaugural exhibit at the Arclight Hollywood. 13 commissioned posters for the Bowl's 2009 season will be on display, promoting everyone from Liza Minnelli and Aretha Franklin to Death Cab for Cutie and the LaMontagnes. In the unique exhibit curated by La-La Land Gallery and the LA Phil, artists such as Camille Rose Garcia and Shag also provide exclusive original works along with their printed pictures, with rare vintage Hollywood Bowl ephemera providing a nostalgic look at the venue's early days.
