While the fourth Thursday in November may be otherwise called Thanksgiving, the third Thursday is the international heralding of the year's Beaujolais Nouveau, an annual celebration in France and beyond. Drawing from a 19th century tradition where the fruits of the year's harvests are shared with guests, the most delicious wine from the Beaujolias province is officially offered to the public. Le Beaujolais Est Arrivé tonight at the Petersen Automotive Museum in a party with DJs, auctions, raffles, numerous exhibitors, and a no-host sampling of authentic French hors d'oeuvres (hey, even the chefs have to eat). Take in the great design of the legendary automotive museum, but remember, don't drink and drive.
