Book Soup says…

Hendrick Hertzberg is a regular contributor to The New Yorker. His new book, Obamanos, includes many great pieces from The New Yorker on the rise of President Obama, and the changing political landscape of which he was a part, and much of which he helped to create. Hertzberg's pieces range from 2004 through the last momentous election, and illustrate the sea change in American political thought and action. In conversation with Marty Kaplan. Marty is the founding director of, and a professor at, the Norman Lear Center for the study of the impact of entertainment on society, which is part of the Annenberg School at USC. You hear Marty on NPR, you read him in the Jewish Journal and on the Huffington Post. He was also a speech writer for Vice President Walter Mondale. The ICM Screening Room is located at 10250 Constellation Blvd. in Century City. The screening room is off the lobby of the MGM Tower. Constellation runs paralell with Santa Monica and Olympic Blvds and is: Between Avenue of the Stars and Century Park West For Parking, we recommend the garage under the Westfield Mall across the street.
