The 2009 We the People Music, Art and Cultural Festival takes over the LA Center Studios to make way for artists, bands, speakers, and community leaders to bring all genres and cultures together in celebration. The party welcomes back Suicidal Tendencies on the main stage as well as Bad Religion, Pepper, Madvillain, The Glitch Mob, Flobots, Anti-Pop Consortium, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds, to name just a few of the amped-up, free-speech champs on deck. Local civic leaders such as Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Kim Barnouin of Skinny Bitch notoriety, plus former LA prosecutor Christopher Darden of OJ infamy will be rallying the masses in the spirit of bringing the independent community together.
