“First screened in 2007 as part of the Silver Lake Film Festival, Ultra Fabulous: Beyond Drag originally featured works by and about icons such as Peaches Christ and original club kid, Walt Paper. Now, Ultra Fabulous is back for an all-new incarnation, with film shorts that further examine the trajectory of trans culture in the modern age. Developed by Austin Young and Saskia Wilson-Brown, the screening is hosted by "Mormon ingénue" Jer Ber Jones, and is followed by a critical panel: Gender Identity and Transploitation in Contemporary Media, featuring Calpernia Addams, Buck Angel, and Zackary Drucker.”
