Following up on last year's inaugural Zero Film Festival, this year's version promises almost a week's worth of all-new self-financed films from around the globe. Kicking off with an opening-night party at the Downtown Standard December 2, the festival settles in at the Downtown Independent Theatre, where it will screen a wide variety of shorts, documentaries, experimental films, animation, and narratives, including the West Coast premiere of Zach Clark's captivating feature about a lonely nurse-turned-dominatrix, Modern Love is Automatic.
