When they're not cranking out art books, comics, and underground novels, indie book publishers Narrow Books moonlight as a band of veteran DJs, having spun everything from rare psychedelia and '60s girl groups to rock and country in delightful dives across the city. Now, they're teaming up with Barnacle Books for a night of vinyl purism at the Hyperion Tavern. Lest the turntable jockeys temporarily forget their roots, the space also doubles as an independent pop-up book shop, with several titles available for purchase, including Yeti Logic by Megan Whitmarsh, Unlovable by Esther Pearl Watson, and Joseph Mattson's novel Empty the Sun, which, appropriately, comes with a soundtrack.
