King of Kitsch Charles Phoenix is back with his hilariously nostalgic, heartwarming Retro Holiday Slide Show, and this year, he's bringing it to three different venues across the Southland: the Neighborhood Church of Pasadena (December 5), the National Hot Rod Museum (December 12), and the Egyptian Theatre (December 20). Presented in gloriously over-saturated Kodachrome, the program takes audiences back to a world of seasonal mid-century madcap décor and unparalleled holiday cheer, wherein Phoenix not only touches upon the gorgeous gaudiness of Christmases past, but also highlights year-round holidays such as the Fourth of July and Halloween.
