Sydney Walsh's warm and human collages are rendered on reclaimed wood, paper and canvas, and are at once resonant, gentle, and accessible. Exhibiting her work at Vida Verde as the selected artist of the month, Walsh delivers pieces that display a calming and attractive earthiness, and with husband and carpenter Clay Wilcox making all her frames from recycled lumber, Walsh's pieces become even more imaginative. Proceeds benefit One in Eight, a breast cancer photography exhibition project.
