Both Honor Fraser and Royal/T host receptions for the artist: Royal/T on Friday, February 20, and Honor Fraser Gallery on Saturday, February 21.
Brooklyn-based artist, graffiti icon, and designer KAWS is already a master of multiple media, with a mini-empire that includes painting, sculpture, and, of course, must-have graphics-based art tees. But, despite the running popularity of his hyperactive abstractions, candy-coated pop art, and cross-eyed witticisms, The Long Way Home marks his first solo show in LA. In typical Brooklyn fashion, he starts big, with a concurrent exhibition at nearby Royal/T, featuring his painting as the centerpiece of a group show entitled I Can't Feel My Face.
