Artist, professor, and Guggenheim Fellow Leandro Katz appears in person to present The Day You'll Love Me, his stirring reflection on the last photos taken of Che Guevara's corpse. Currently residing in Argentina, Katz' poetic, non-narrative inquiry into the power of photography focuses on the 1967 image of the Marxist revolutionary as he lay dead on a table, surrounded by his executioners and the press. Katz himself has since restored the 30-minute visual essay, which is accompanied by Splits (1978) and Paradox (2001), two films that further offer a glimpse into his molten inner world.
