Crewest Gallery says…

Forty-four years after his death, legendary pianist and baritone Nat King Cole continues to inspire artists, from painters to poets and, of course, musicians. Downtown's Crewest Gallery exhibits visual art with a debt to the preeminent musician, in conjunction with the worldwide release of RE:GENERATIONS, an album pairing Cole's timeless tunes with contributions from such acts as will.i.am, the Roots, and TV on the Radio. The icon's grandson Sage Cole shares works from the compilation's CD booklet, alongside efforts from graffiti icon Man One, who painted the Capitol building's Nat King Cole mural with local mentoring organization the HeArt Project. Half a dozen other visionaries also contribute original and limited-edition works.
