Crosstown Rebels label honcho Damian Lazarus helps pop the cork at the launch for the latest Droog DJ residency, with a sky-high party for the new Culprit label on the Standard Downtown Rooftop. Lazarus has come a long way since establishing City Rockers (one of the original homes for electroclash), with a solidly booked DJ schedule honing his downright weird, minimal, and dirty percussive sound. The jam-packed turntable queue also includes fellow globetrotting broken-beat soul maestros Lee Foss, Jamie Jones, and Clive Henry, as well as promoters and party-starting resident DJs, Droog.
