“Every day has resembled Earth Day lately, so now's an appropriate time to toast those forward-thinking folks, activist John McConnell and Senator Gaylord Nelson, who established the observance back in 1969-70. While there's still a way to go, one day isn't nearly enough to celebrate the strides made in recognition of sustainability since then. To mark this progress, Bottle Rock Wine Bar is offering a green menu throughout April, listing vintners and brewers who employ "sustainable, organic, biodynamic, or photovoltaic practices," with over 20 varieties to sample. An endless Earth Day and Earth-friendly drinks? Now that's something worth sustaining.”
