In its quest to extol the many forms of photography, the Lucie Foundation curated numerous events and gallery shows for Month of Photography Los Angeles. As the event winds to a close, the final fortnight features a hefty roster of pop-up shows, lectures, and parties. On Wednesday, curator Paul Martineau discusses Paul Outerbridge's mammoth survey at the Getty, and the week continues with a slate of events in which fashion and celebrity photography meet head-on at Pier 59 Studios in Santa Monica. Leading photographers such as Kwaku Alston, Robert Farber, Art Strieber, Melivn Sokolsky, Susan Baraz, Rhoni Epstein, and Hugh Kreschtmer share their secrets, and the studio also hosts the Fresh Fair for young photogs on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month.
