Artists, scientists, public-policy makers, and concerned citizens find common ground at unique outdoor art installation Cool Globes. The result of a mammoth international undertaking, the project drafts the talents of visual artists, architects, and engineers into the dialog about global warming. It's a simple idea writ large, as the eclectic and ever-increasing collection of huge globes is decorated and re-designed, the better to articulate and illustrate progressive solutions to the environmental crisis. The exhibition never stops traveling, but it alights in LA's Exposition Park just in time for Earth Day.
