It's time to check back into the Custom Hotel for another season of day-into-night poolside dance parties. Making the move from Sunday to Saturday to "allow for better times," organizers Wiseacre (Funky in the Middle) and Eduardo Castillo (Eclectech) and hostess Mary DuMont (Philter) invite London's Simbad (Raw Fusion), as well as locals Scott K (Box Music) and Jeremy Sole (Afro Funke'), to join them for this afternoon's kickoff Salt & Pepper party. Expect ridiculous grooves with a decidedly uptempo, Afro- and Latin-boogie flair, along with a curious mix of international travelers and beat-fiend locals. This is nothing short of the party you've been waiting all winter for.
