Cirque Berzerk at Downtown's LA State Historic Park features a custom-built Italian big top, seven new alt-circus acts, and a midway extravaganza complementing its already spellbinding production. Featuring dozens of acrobats, aerialists, burlesque divas, and demented clowns, the punk-rock cabaret-style spectacle is accompanied by an original score courtesy of Kevin Bourque, who founded the 21st-century fun fair with his wife, Suzanne Bernel, in 2005. Adults of all ages are invited to picnic and hobnob with stilt-walkers before the show, and to stick around for a post-show party in the Berzerk Lounge.
