Known for its quarterly screenings at the Hammer, as well as its monthly Cinema Tuesdays, Flux also brings a haunting and intense collection of works to its Venice studio as part of its Salon series. A year in the making, Geometry of Ruins features photography, animation, and video by Brazilian artists Andrezza Valentin and Guilherme Marcondes. Produced in Los Angeles, New York, and São Paulo, the exhibition highlights structures in various states of decay, providing a moving commentary on the idealism, progress, and disappointment that so often beleaguers modern architecture.
