Note:
The art exhibition is free and open to the public in the Convention Center's West Hall lobby. E3 entrance is a separate ticket.
Bringing together specialists in both fine art and gaming, Into the Pixel, now in its sixth year, celebrates the artistic achievements of designers in the interactive-entertainment industry. Each year, jurors select 16 pieces from numerous submissions to be displayed in a final exhibition at the E3 computer and video-game expo. The public is invited to witness the open marriage of fine art and computer design in the pieces culled by a skillful group of curators, educators, artists, gallery owners, and video game professionals. Think of it as the intellectual's pretext for ogling the new Grand Theft Auto.
