Note:
A performance series also takes place throughout the summer; call the gallery for further details.
Solway Jones Gallery's summer group show takes on the celebrated cross-pollination of music and art, with an exhibition of mostly sculptural sound-producing instruments (paintings by street-art darling Clare Rojas being a notable exception). Highlights include quirky, intricate, and innovative contributions from the acknowledged father of the circuit-bending indie sound movement, Reed Ghazala; video and performance artist and avant-garde standard-bearer Nam June Paik; and artist, musician, and punster Dani Tull, who contributes an interactive work entitled The Feel Spectre.
