Butterfly Boucher's sophomore LP, Scary Fragile, has been a long time coming. The Aussie songstress who describes her work as "too pop for the indie scene, and too indie for the pop world" found herself stuck in the middle of a three-year tug-of-war with Geffen Records, sadly reminiscent of Wilco's experience with Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Boucher has finally been set free and all June she celebrates Scary Fragile's release at the Hotel Café with a month-long residency, so check the schedule for her lineup of KCRW-approved guest stars
