Internationally renowned sculptor Fred Eversley has been a pioneer at every turn in his decades-long career. He's the longest-serving resident of Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, the first Artist in Residence at the Smithsonian Institution, and noted for his futuristic approach to light and space sculptures through the use of poured acrylic polymers. As this survey demonstrates, his advanced, nuanced, physically demanding process has taken many forms over the years, but his knack for crafting perfect, inorganic geometries that nevertheless hum with life encompasses scales from the intimate to the monumental.
