MoCA's Engagement Party, a series highlighting the works of local collectives devoted to non-object art, introduces Ojo, the newest participant in its three-month residency program. A collective of visual artists founded on a mutual interest in the nexus of music and art, Ojo erases the line between artist and audience with its experiments in improvisation involving acoustic guitars, electronics, and crowd participation. Tonight, Ojo kicks off its stint at MoCA with Color Chorus, which employs a drum machine, synchronized projections, and sounds from the audience to create a colorful cacophony of light and music.
