The Natural History Museum's First Fridays series celebrates the bicentennial of Charles Darwin's birth and the 150th birthday of On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection. Following an early-evening tour of the museum and discussion, the event features a turntable triumvirate including mash-up master DJ Z-Trip's rock-inflected party jams, The Phatal DJ's leftfield hip-hop, and the soulful psychedelia of LA's own Gaslamp Killer, who redefines evolution to include survival of the dance-hall fittest.
