The paintings of Brooklyn-based artist Stella Im Hultberg combine the sultry, gilded romance and elongated, mannerist lines of Gustav Klimt with the breezy, surreal elegance of vintage European fashion plates. Memento Mori is a series of psychologically charged portraits of a raven-haired beauty with a lot on her mind.
