Curated by arts critic and writer Emma Gray, Honor Fraser's annual group show features works by 14 female artists based in the City of Angels. Inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Anne Sexton's "Consorting With Angels," the exhibition represents a wide range of media, from painting, sculpture, and performance to photography and video. The artists' own attitudes toward the "women's movement" are as varied as their work, with self-described "angry feminist" Andrea Bowers balancing the post-feminist ideals of Catherine Opie and her former student Annie Lapin.
