KCRW hosts another music mesh-up at tonight's Hollywood Bowl World Festival, as rocker Ray LaMontagne teams up with the LA Philharmonic for an orchestral-tinged set from the singer/songwriter's latest opus, Gossip in the Grain (which features a duet with his girlfriend and fellow folkie, Leona Naess). Also on the bill are Portland-based experimental sextet Blitzen Trapper and Rilo Kiley frontwoman (and former Troop Beverly Hills child star) Jenny Lewis — the latter of whom performs tracks from last year's Acid Tongue and, hopefully, some new tunes too.
