Illuminating the wealth of creative resources within the LA art scene, Tarryn Teresa Gallery's Lights on LA strings up light bulbs adorned by various artists and gathered into a distinct temporary exhibit. LA Downtown Art Project's Art Squared Gallery also helped with the public art event on display in Pershing Square, which is designed to draw attention to the ultimate necessity of art, particularly during tough times. Artists are encouraged to submit their illuminating designs throughout the exhibition, and the city offers a series of free outdoor concerts to further brighten those hot summer nights.
