The second week of Outfest concludes with its now-legendary open-air screenings at the Ford Ampitheatre. Highlights include Wednesday night's Swedish same-sex-parenting lark Patrik Age 1.5; a bellow-your-lungs-out love letter to Babs with Thursday night's Funny Girl singalong; Friday's Hollywood, Je T'aime, writer/director Jason Bushman's France-to-gay-LA tale; and Sunday's coming-of-age teen love story and festival closer Dare. One earlier film worth traveling indoors for: Tuesday's screening of Tina Mabry's African-American Southern family drama (and the festival's Dramatic Centerpiece) Mississippi Damned, at the Director's Guild Theatre.
