Following three previous incarnations, the Rogue Wave group show returns to Venice's LA Louver with ten Angelenos redefining regionalism. Co-curated by Peter Goulds and artist Christopher Pate, the exhibition represents a wide range of styles, work flows, and aesthetics, from Erin Cosgrove's pop-culture infused multimedia to Annie Lapin's documented spatial struggles. Defined as "an unpredictable, abnormally large wave that occurs on a seemingly random basis," Rogue Wave continues to locate and nurture leading artists, while revealing how the essence of LA art lies in its unpredictability.
