New Image Art Gallery presents a pair of very different takes on the feminine mystique as painters Suzannah Sinclair and Kime Buzelli take turns figuring out how to reconcile the soft and scary/darling and dangerous aspects of the sexy-lady genre of American painting. Where Buzelli's work has an energetic, edgy urban wit and stylish sex appeal, Sinclair's more delicate and seemingly kittenish portraits involve pop art and a well-developed watercolor technique that give them a deceptive spun-sugar aura.
