Typically, when an arts organization has a fundraiser, it looks to board members and outside supporters for help with entertainment, programming, visuals, and merchandise. But the mission of the Telic Arts Exchange and its many-pronged visual-culture efforts keeps it all in-house. Making full use of the different rooms at Mandrake, Telic's non-locational, video-art project the Distributed Gallery hosts video screenings; its performance/education wing the Public School provides live demos and happenings; its limited-edition publications are available for perusal and purchase; and its Berlin remote project partakes via wi-fi. Mandrake-curated drink specials and music from our friends at Dublab help further turn this virtual arts community into a real-world party.
