The philanthropic and stylish folks at Tom's Shoes famously give away a pair of kicks to a kid in need for every one they sell — and although they accomplish a lot this way, there's always room for growth. Tonight, an impressive list of well-heeled indie favorites take the stage in support of the company's current and future plans, including piano man Jim Bianco, acoustic troubadour Chris Pierce, and indie poppers the Brendan Hines. Opening the evening on a separate ticket (with a show absolutely worth coming out early for) are the authors of the Nervous Breakdown, presenting a much-anticipated live version of their salient indie literary community's boundary-blurring word-and-sound situations.
