Though certain details of Death Cab for Cutie's Hollywood Bowl appearance are hush hush, one thing's for sure: there will be no auto-tune. The Washington rockers — who famously view the technique as musical terrorism — team up with the LA Phil for an all-orchestral set of classic cuts from Transatlanticism, The Open Door EP, and others. Canadian twins Tegan and Sara warm up the big affair, performing their attitude-soaked blend of electro folk (Jack and Meg White are big fans), and Vancouver rockers The New Pornographers round out a summer night of can't-miss indie-rock all-stars.
