Electro-pop maven Émilie Simon skips across the pond from her native France for a whirlwind tour of the West Coast. Lacing almost operatic vocals through intricate compositions, Simon's been churning out energetic work since her self-titled debut in 2003. Tonight, she comes to the Bootleg Theater with songs from her forthcoming album, The Big Machine. Arrive early to catch Montreal-born, local indie favorite Penelope Fortier.
