The Downtown Art Walk has been rolling out new features ever since Bert Green handed over the reins of the monthly art blitz to the brains behind Esotouric. August's edition features painterly childhood reflections by French artist Valérie Daval at the Deborah Martin Gallery. Pharmaka offers a rare glimpse into Iconography In the Abstract, while Ad/Verse Reactions to real estate and advertising helps illustrate The Billboard Show at Take My Picture Gary Leonard. Sherry Moore's army of local visual artists take to Revisiting Katrina: Looking Back, Looking Forward at The Exchange, while Create:Fixate's voyeuristic outpost, Surveillance Room, points in the direction of Downtown's best after-art party at Junglerush.
