Egyptian Theatre says…

All too often, the quality of cinema is determined by box office numbers and hungry-for-blood critics. So Bad They're Brilliant takes the higher road, affording a second-hand appreciation of discarded films, including dusted-off mainstream disco-busters like the alien roller-skating romp Xanadu and the notorious John Travolta flop Staying Alive. But it's the lesser-known fare that are now worthy of must-see status: Paul Newman's fashion comedy, A New Kind Of Love (1962); Ann Margaret's S&M romp Kitten With A Whip (1964) and the 1983 Harold Robbins film adaptation of The Lonely Lady, starring Pia Zadora as an innocent San Fernando Valley schoolgirl.
