In today's volatile political climate, questions abound as to what, if any, limits on free speech and civic protest exist — and which, if any, political groups have the moral monopoly on democratic expression. Leave it to the Oscar-winning peace and social justice activist Tim Robbins and the Actors Gang to tackle these issues head-on. A much-anticipated return engagement of the Trial of the Catsonville Nine tells the true story of a 1968 anti-draft protest and its aftermath, asking the question, according to director Jon Kellam, "Is there a difference between breaking the law and committing a crime?"
