Mike Shinoda: Glorious Excess (Dies)
Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda has a lot on his mind — literally. His parallel career as a visual artist often finds him examining the excesses of celebrity culture. Shinoda's paintings and digital works combine the already-intertwined memes of pop-cultural obsessions such as sex, death, money, and fame, using a multiplicity of styles, saturated palettes, and kaleidoscopic compositions that both portray and embody the self-same maximalism.

On opening night, admission is free.
