Join Disneyland's executive pastry chef Jean-Marc Viallet for a chocolaty treat that promises to be more complex than unwrapping a Hershey's. The gratis menu features a cookie sandwich made with fine Ecuadorian cacao beans, a chocolate gelato, as well as three other delectable samples. All the deserts are made from Republica del Cacao artisan chocolate, known for its rich, floral aroma and lush texture. The event is hosted by Surfas, a posh restaurant supplier that began in an LA garage over 70 years ago. While chocolate can be a tricky ingredient to work with, Viallet demonstrates how perseverance can be rewarding.
