Channeling his inner Duchamp, sculptor Michael Dee combs the florescent-lit aisles of his local 99-cent store in search of plastic cups, bottles and other ubiquitous polystyrene goods to create large-scale sculptural installations. With its brightly colored hues and beguiling lighting, Dee's work takes on an ethereal quality and proves that even the most humble object can be transformed into a glittering, polished objet d'art.
