The Donmar Warehouse production of Parade currently playing at Mark Taper isn't conventional music theater. Like Tony Kushner's Caroline or Change, Jason Roberts Brown's score marries lyricism and melody as a backdrop against dark societal forces. T.R. Knight and Lara Pulver star as factory manager husband and wife Leo and Lucille Frank, who face Leo's trial for the murder of a 13-year-old factory worker.
