Mac and Retna are a pair of artists who regularly collaborate on monumental outdoor murals and other graffiti-based public art installations. Their unique and ever-evolving mixed technique (one favors brushes, the other nozzles; one abstract pattern and texture, the other romantic portraiture) has garnered them huge popularity in the lucky LA neighborhoods where they work. In Vagos y Reinas, Robert Berman Gallery brings their efforts in from the elements to the comfort of the art gallery, without diminishing any of the wild exuberance for which the pair is known.
