Two very different photographers take on aspects of growing up in America. Jona Frank extends her intimate yet clinical style of documentary portraiture to take a witty, unsettling, and heartbreaking look at the very young American male. Chris Verene, meanwhile, celebrates the publication of his recent book, Family, which uses tender, fearless frankness and personal recollection to document the life stories, love stories, and histories of his own parents and relatives with absolute intimacy.
