Mexico City-based Anibal Catalan transforms the exterior of the Jaus house with a complex gray-scale mural referencing the incandescent wings of the Morpho butterfly as a metaphor for the world's constant state of flux. Meanwhile, on the inside, artist Martin Durazo curates a three-woman show about surface, illusion, seduction (optical and otherwise), and subversion of expectations, featuring three LA artists who use drastically different approaches to deconstruct their circumstances.
