Noël Coward
Jan 23, 2010 – Apr 18, 2010
Tuesdays–Fridays (10am–5pm)
Saturdays–Sundays (noon–6pm)
“Known most famously for his reign as one of theater's greatest playwrights, British-born Noël Coward wore many other hats: singer, actor, director, and even Las Vegas cabaret star. Fresh from runs at London's National Theatre and the Museum of Performance & Design in San Francisco, Star Quality: The World of Noël Coward celebrates the great man's multitudinous achievements, through rare photos, personal letters, hand-drawn designs, and even Coward's signature silk dressing gowns.”
This touring exhibition highlights the life and career of Noël Coward, the multitalented playwright, composer, director, actor, cabaret artist, wartime patriot and painter. Presented in association with the Noël Coward Foundation and the Museum of Performance & Design in San Francisco.
Location: Academy's Fourth Floor Gallery, 8949 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90211
