Although addiction is seldom funny (witness A&E's sobering series Intervention), that doesn't mean recovery can't be a party. Tonight, comedian, actress, and self-proclaimed "homo-lectual" (she thinks gay) Beth Lapides throws a soirée to benefit the LA Gay & Lesbian Center's Baby Dragon Fund for meth and mental health counseling. Tonight's one-night-only performance, 100% Happy 88% of the Time, features brand-new material written and performed by Lapides and promises "a dash of woo-woo" to lighten up a startling local epidemic.
