“The writer MFK Fisher once famously said, "First we eat, then we do everything else," and tonight's special event at the Gorbals (a winning Top Chef's acclaimed eatery inside the gritty downtown landmark Hotel Alexandria) puts that to the test. A compendium of local writers including Chiwan Choi, Linda Immediato, and Margaret Wappler) converge on the home of Ilan Hall's famous bacon-wrapped matzoh balls to lend their voices to the zesty cultural mix of the neighborhood, in a rousing night that is, literally, a feast for the senses.”
